I am just emailing to say thank you for the lovely pig you supplied for our family hog roast.

Your butcher was very helpful and asked us to let him know how we got on.

As you can see from the photos the pig was butterflied and put on a tray over the fire. He took around 5 hours to cook and because there was tinfoil over the tray creating a oven type cooking we didn’t get any crackling due to the moisture. The meat was lovely and succulent and very tasty.

We just want to thank you for all your advice and a wonderful pig, told everyone where we got it from.
