 Hello Andrew

Just a quick note but with a huge thank you for providing such a splendid meal for so many people at Jake and Jackie’s wedding at Fursdon last week. I have lost count of the number of people who have said that it was the best pork they have ever tasted and that the crackling was AMAZING. I’ve heard similar reports on the halal lamb and indeed all comments on the catering offer high praise indeed. Your business is to be highly recommended and I will be passing on the word, as will the guests who have all been hugely impressed.

Please would you also pass on my thanks to your staff. They were  professional, calm, committed and reassuring throughout the event, worked incredibly hard and noticed just what was needed. The young lasses who served at the drinks reception and finished preparing the canapes were absolutley splendid - quietly competent, patient, responsive and efficient, as were the bar staff too. They worked later than expected as timescales slipped and were very concerned to not leave until everything was done. A trully remarkable operation and very much appreciated.

Have been meaning to e mail you to say how much everyone enjoyed the hog roast you provided for the Druce wedding at the Old Rectory in Chulmleigh on 10th September – especially the crackling – it was to die for!!!  How did you do it – we all want to know!

The pig and the salads were all delicious and you and your staff were a delight to work with so many thanks from a very satisfied wedding party!

I just want to send to you an e-mail to say that the hog roast you provided for our Evening Wedding Reception (23rd July 2011) was amazing. Our Wedding guests commented highly on the flavour and texture of the meat and your staff were very friendly and extremely efficient.

I tried to send a few photos of the hog roast for your amusement but it was unable to deliver.

I was a guest at a wedding reception last weekend at Fursdon House and wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for providing such excellent food. The canapes were a delightful introduction to the more substantial traditional hog roast alongside the equally delicious Halal lamb roast. All the members of your team I spoke with were friendly and seemd genuinely happy to talk to my two young boys and myself as I explained what was happening whilst the pig was roasting.

The Hog Roast was FANTASTIC – so tender and melt in the mouth, simply delicious- Thankyou.We had lots of compliments.We enjoyed the ‘lost ‘stuffing the next day!

 Hi

I am just emailing to say thank you for the lovely pig you supplied for our family hog roast.

Your butcher was very helpful and asked us to let him know how we got on.

As you can see from the photos the pig was butterflied and put on a tray over the fire. He took around 5 hours to cook and because there was tinfoil over the tray creating a oven type cooking we didn’t get any crackling due to the moisture. The meat was lovely and succulent and very tasty.

We just want to thank you for all your advice and a wonderful pig, told everyone where we got it from.
