St David’s Farm Practice would like to congratulate Andrew Freemantle of Kenniford Farm near Exeter for winning the Pig Farmer of the Year Award at the Farmers Weekly Awards 2008
“Andrew won the award because of his progression, development and dedication to all aspects of the buisness in the face of adversity whilst maintaining the highest standars giving him both RSPCA Freedom Foods & LEAF certification.
His farm shop has built up a good reputation locally and along with supplying free range pork from his 280 sow herd to catering, retail and processing clients he also runs a busy hog roasting service, catering vans from three Countrywide stores and at many local shows.
Andrew has been a client and a friend of the practice for a number of years and we look forward to working with him and seeing the farm progress further in the future.”
