Kenniford’s Scotch Eggs claim a second award in 2012

After our new Scotch Eggs were awarded a Gold at the Taste of the West Awards earlier this year, we were given the opportunity to enter them into the ‘Overall Champions’ awards. We are delighted to announce that they were awarded the winner of the ‘Best of ready meals, soups and light bites’ category.

Taste of the West Awards 2012

We are proud to announce that we have had another successful year with our entries into the Taste of the West Product Awards. We entered five products from our range into the competition; some of our traditional Devon Pork sausages, our delicious Old English sausages, a Pork Loin, some Green Back Bacon and a duo of Scotch Eggs. These Scotch Eggs are one of our new products for this year, so we were delighted to hear how well they had done.

We have been presented with the following;

Green Back Bacon – BRONZE
Devon Pork Sausages – SILVER
Old English Sausages – SILVER
Pork Loin – SILVER
Scotch Eggs – GOLD

We weren’t the only ones to have achieved such recognition for the quality of our products. Fellow producers such as Tom’s Pies, Chunk of Devon, South Devon Chilli Farm, Dartmoor Farmers, Burt’s, and Otter Brewery were also selected to receive the awards, whose produce can all be found in our Farm Shop.
